List of products by brand RONCO MARGHERITA

We are talking about soils and not a single soil because Ronco Margherita has its vineyards in three very distinct areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia: 10 hectares in Pinzano al Tagliamento where the reception center is also located, 18 hectares in the heart of the Magredi, in the area of Dandolo, in the municipality of Maniago and 8 hectares in the Colli Orientali del Friuli area.

This is one of the most important assets of the company: being able to enclose in its wines the characteristics and typical features of three areas that are so different and so important for the Friulian winemaking tradition.

In fact, the soil in viticulture is very important as a reserve of water and mineral salts which greatly influence both the grapes and the wine: even if the vine is a plant that adapts to any type of soil, the same vine will not give same grapes if grown in soils with different composition and characteristics. The vine, contrary to what one might believe, does not require fertile soil, but on the contrary favors the drier ones.

Alessandro Bellio was born in Treviso in 1975. Since he was a boy, he became passionate about the oval ball and joined Treviso's Benetton Rugby, playing as a prop.
It is a tough sport, where the sacrifice of the individual leads to the victory of the team: this is how Alessandro grows, between mud, sweat and satisfaction.
His physical fatigue doesn't scare him and already with clear ideas he decides to enroll in the Enology School of Conegliano and in 1995 he obtains his diploma. Having become a winemaker, he began working in the sector in Veneto, but in 1998 another love overwhelmed him and pushed him to move: Friuli Venezia Giulia, home of great wines, became his new home.
For 7 years he led an important Friulian winery as an oenologist, agronomist and sales manager and in 2006 he decided to open a service company for the management of vineyards on behalf of third parties which would soon extend from Friuli to Veneto, from Lombardy to Tuscany, collaborating with leading companies in the wine sector.
It is among the rows of beloved vines that she meets Margherita, a sweet and reserved girl who has the same passion for the land and wine as her. Thus was born a solid and profound love from which, in 2009, the idea of opening his own winery germinated: Ronco Margherita.
The dream that became reality in these years of hard team work became even more concrete in 2015 with the transfer of the headquarters to Pinzano al Tagliamento, in the ancient estate that belonged to Ruggero Forti, father of modern Friulian viticulture.
In addition to the approximately 12 hectares distributed between the Pinzano hills and the Dandolo magredi area, in the municipality of Maniago, the company also includes a vast production in the Colli Orientali del Friuli.
