The Casalvento di Cerreto Guidi farm mainly deals with the production and marketing of wine and extra virgin olive oil.

It is above all a company of people, in which the awareness is maintained that it is the hand and heart of man that make the difference. It is in fact the attention to the smallest details that determines the character, soul and body of the wines as well as the great quality of the oil.

The lands of the Casalvento farm are located in a sufficiently vast territory, such as to guarantee the ideal environment for the different types of vines that are grown. They are vineyards located exclusively on the hills, in the municipality of Cerreto Guidi just 40 km from Florence; where the land is cultivated with vineyards, it is an integral part of the spectacular landscape of this municipality.

The optimal environmental conditions of these hills favor the development of the vine and the production of grapes ideal for winemaking. It is enough to indulge nature for these vineyards to offer an excellent product. A mild winter alternates rainy and sunny periods, a rainy spring and a hot, dry summer, refreshed by short rainfalls, represent perfect climatic conditions for the grapes to reach the right degree of ripeness.
